Rainy Weekend with Friends

This weather has been horrible the last few days. We've been mostly stuck inside. So we had to find things to do inside to keep us all busy. And we were lucky because we were able to spend time with Crystal too.

On Friday night we all went to see the movie Jumangi with Bryce and Lisa. On Saturday we ventured off to SkyZone and Dave and Buster's with the Moore Family. We enjoyed a pizza dinner and then Jayden spent the night. Bransen tested out his new skates he got for his birthday with Papa at the Skate and Shake and skated for the entire three hours.

What a weekend to wrap up the last weekend of 2019!

Christmas Eve / Christmas Day

Christmas Eve we celebrated with Jake's Family. We all went over for dinner and presents. Pep played Santa and handed out all the gifts to the kids. This was the first Christmas we got to spend with Grandma Me and it was a joy to have her with us.

The funniest part of the night was the fact that both of Mem's pies she made ended up on the floor! We didn't take any pictures that night because we were enjoying each other's companies!

Christmas morning. Santa came! The boys didn't wake up too early, thank goodness. We got up, had coffee and watched the open their presents. Some of them exclaimed that these were the best presents ever. As much as I stress each year over Christmas it's such a sweet relief when it's all done and the look on their faces is always priceless.

The big gift from Santa was they all got a new bike and a new stunt scooter. Shortly after opening presents we were on our way to the skate park to test it all out!

Later that day my parents came over for dinner and we celebrated my birthday and opened presents with them. It was a great ending to such a wonderful day!

Triple Creek State Race #3 and #4

This was a weekend for the books. Top BMX weekend ever! I can't even put into words how amazing this weekend was for the boys.

Bransen got an entire new bike put together and this was pretty much his first weekend riding it. He killed it out there. He owned that track like I have never seen him ride before. He got out of the gate, got right over and was on fire. He took second place both days! His best state race finishes ever. Something clicked for him and he wanted that first place finish and he worked for it. We were so proud of him the entire weekend. We screamed, we cried, we laughed.  We had all the emotions and we had an amazing time with friends and our Fox Hunt team!

And Ben, well Ben did what Ben does and he took home first place finishes each day. He got to bring home the big trophies. He had a little competition this weekend but in Ben style Ben wasn't letting anyone beat him. He's quite competitive.

Both boys next state race they will racing a different age bracket as they both have birthdays. Ben will race the 3's and Bransen will be racing 8i.

Come on Tampa were ready for you!

Bransen Turns Eight

Happy 8th Birthday to Bransen!

He started his birthday off with a sleepover with his friends, Bryce, Maverick and Myles. The boys had pizza and cake and played outside riding bikes and scooters most of the day. The next morning they all had some wet fun in the swale!

And here's our facebook birthday shout outs!

From Mom:

Happy 8th birthday to one of the stars of my show! You were one of my best Christmas presents I ever received and being able to watch you star in your own show is my greatest blessing! Keep doing your thing B! It’s one of my favorite shows!

Breakfast with Santa

Our annual Breakfast with Santa at the Casements was another great time. This was our 8th time going with my parents. It's hard to believe we started this tradition while I was pregnant with Bransen. We had breakfast, made cookies and an ornament, met with Santa and Ben and Bransen got their face painted. We are looking forward to year number nine!

Twilight Hotel Take 2

The boys, myself and Bryce all took a ride down to the Twilight Hotel. My first thoughts were that we would just drive through it because the weather was freezing and it was windy. As we got there everyone wanted to get out and walk it.  We took a picture with Santa and rode the train. We did a quick walk through as everyone was cold!

Well maybe not Bransen since he was dressed like it was summer!

Bransen's School Birthday Celebration

I brought Bransen lunch and cupcakes to celebrate him turning 8 at school! All I wanted was one picture and this is what I got! :)

Maybe it's boys, maybe it's the age!

Day with Dad

No better day, than the day you get to spend it all with Dad. And I think Jake feels the same about spending the day with Ben. Today they ventured down to Volusia County aviation. Where Ben got to explore some helicopters and even got a tour of the grounds in a gold cart!

Dinner with Santa

Flagler Palm Coast High School was putting on a Dinner with Santa Event. We met up with T and Crystal and enjoyed an Italian Dinner, played some games, listened to the FPC band, took some photo ops and made a craft! We didn't wait for Santa but we did see the Grinch a few times. Ben loved calling him over and then crying as soon as he got to us!
