Rodeo Time!

The famous eight second ride! We all enjoyed a night at the local rodeo competition. The night was fill of laughing, watching riders fall off their bulls, Kona Ice and hanging with friends!

Oh and we can't forget camo and boots!

Cade Turns 9

Dave and Buster's Time. We had a blast celebrating our good friend Cade turn 9! And there's no better way that a night of arcade games, food, swimming and cake!!

The boys played in the arcade at Dave and Buster's for a few hours, ate dinner and then cashed in on a bunch of their tokens to take away necklaces, bouncy balls and emoji pillows.

We followed it up with some night swimming along with some chocolate cake and singing of Happy Birthday!

Nighttime Ride with Dad

A simple request. A simple YES. The Bissonnette boys went for a 1.43 mile bike ride with Jake the other night when Brayden, Bransen and I went and watched Papa play basketball.  I was impressed that Ben was able to bike that way all by himself. The boys love their after dinner bike rides and taking a quick stop at the end to take a load off their feet and relax on the bench.

Bonus Dad

Sometimes a picture tells a story. Sometimes you can see so much by one single picture. This picture below shows and tells me so much. This little boy looks up to him. He's his idol. The man is there for this boy in every single imaginable way. The little boy looks up to the man and the man never looks down on him. He builds him, let's him know that he is there every step of the way and will love him unconditional. There bond is fierce and no one will get in their way. There friends, there family there bonuses in each others lives.

Bye Bye Training Wheels

I've never seen anything like it. I've been surprised by things numerous times in life but this left me speechless.

He's been pedaling away since he could walk, takes the high banks of Daytona and can ride the strider like no other.

So....we noticed that he started balancing really well on the strider and one morning Jake mentioned that he thinks Ben could ride without training wheels. I didn't think he was there yet.

But to my surprise, he took the training wheels off and Ben was gone. He took off and never looked back. After about ten minutes riding he even learned the grasp of turning, stopping and using the break.

It was one of those moments if you didn't see it you never would have believed it.

We owe a lot of it to the strider and of course his strong determination of keeping up with older brothers.

And now we can't get him off the bike even more than before! Unfortunately I don't have any pictures but the one below because well he was just too quick!

Touch-A-Truck

We spent the Saturday morning at a local event called Touch-A-Truck. It's put on by our city where local companies with trucks come and let the kids walk around, get in the trucks and try on equipment and uniforms. The boys had a blast and the firetrucks were a hit amongst them all!

Wadsworth 5K and Kids Dash

Aiden and Raylan both go to Wadsworth Elementary. The school was holding a 5K race their to earn money for their school. Since the boys both go there I thought it was necessary to run and raise money for their school. I took in first place in my age group and got to run with Kids Dash with Raylan!

And I'm pretty sure Raylan loved his medal as he wore it to the beach later that day!

Running Partner

I have a running partner in the making and with this boys energy and speed i'm sure one day I'll see him next to me running alongside me!

We went for a quick three mile run where he enjoyed a relaxing time in the stroller but at the end once we turned onto our street he ran with me all the way home and then took a seat for an apple break!
