Kameron Turns Eleven
Our best friend and buddy Kameron turned 11 and we were lucky enough to get to celebrate his birthday with him. Cake, food, a pinata and a super huge water made for a perfect birthday celebration. We've been lucky to be able to celebrate seven birthdays with Kameron!

101st Birthday!
My grandmother would have turned 101 on March 21st. And as we do every year the boys and I went to my parents and we sent balloons to heaven to wish her a very Happy Birthday!

1st Beach Day of the Year
The boys, Crystal and I met up with my friend Jamie and her son Kameron for our first official beach day of the season!
The weather was beautiful, the sand was soft, the water was freezing and the beach was crowded. After several hours of playing in the sand, some were crazy enough to get into the water we ended it with slurpees!
We all had a great time kicking off Spring Break and are looking forward to filling our summer days with many more beach days.

Daytona BMX
Finally! After a year of not having a home track, Daytona BMX opened it's doors and raced its first race. We've been practicing their for a few weeks now but Saturday they held their official first race.
Lots of raffles, a silent auction, Kona Ice and most of all alot of racers! 224 riders and 42 motos. It was everything we all imagined it would be and more. The face that we have a home track is amazing. We're all looking to get so much more practice in now!
The races were great! Ben did the parade lap with everyone but refused to race because he doesn't like the gate yet. Bransen had a total point race. Three in his group. Took first place moto one, second place moto two and in true Bransen fashion lately his chain slipped and he took third in moto three ending with a second place. But he hustled and raced extremely well.
We were excited to see many old racing friends we hadn't seen in a while. The weather was beautiful. Daytona BMX!!

Flu Round Two
And for the second time in his short three years, he has been diagnosed with the flu! This time Type A.
With all the chaos of the coronavirus we made our way to the ER. It was packed but luckily with such a great nurse and doctor staff we were able to make our way in and out and right home for some much needed snuggles and relaxing.
It lasted for about a week. He has many ups and down, when we thought he was getting better he would take a turn and get worse. We enjoyed our time together and we are all so happy that he is back feeling like himself!

High Springs BMX
Florida State Race Series #9 and #10 brought us to High Springs, FL! It also brought with us a lot of changes and a trip with just Bransen and I.
We officially changed teams. For reasons we decided to leave our Fox Hunt Racing Team and join Black Crown racing. It's a smaller group of rider, four to be exact and we were excited to ride with our new team this weekend.
Although we had a tough weekend, we also had some non win victories and those seem to sometimes be a better win personally. He raced hard and more importantly he gave 100% effort. Saturday ended our day with a slipped pedal which pushed him back and Sunday was a video finish to see who made it to the main. Unforunately with a wide turn in the last turn and a racer who passed him in it, he fought to the finish but didn't make it to the main.
He has been working his butt off the last few weeks and he has taken two more wins in Saint Augustine and Jacksonville.
We are looking forward to some good racing coming up in Naples the beginning of April.

Bring on The Adventures
Well it's officially official, the B Family has purchased a camper!
Jake and I both grew up camping with our families as kids. It's one of the best memories we both have with our families and we decided that it's the kind of memories we want to start making with our kids! And also with traveling with BMX it will come in handy too!
Our first adventure will take us to Naples BMX in the beginning of April.
I can't wait to post and share our memories to remember about all our future trips!
