Easter Bunny Traditions

As a kid my parents used to always hide chocolate Easter eggs around the house in all different places. We would wake up every Easter morning and have to find all these little eggs. We never did big Easter baskets filled with toys and big pieces of candy. This is always a memory I will hold onto forever and one that I continued on with my boys!

Boys Sleepover

These boys have been friends for going on six years. What started as being classmates in Mrs. Jessica's VPK class at CTK has grown into boys becoming the best of friends and us Mom's too!

With them being at different schools and busy sport and school schedules there's not always a lot of time that we have that everyone is free to have a sleepover. It worked out this week since Friday was a holiday and I was off work to have the boys come over.

They played, played and played all while enjoying pizza, cookies, chips, popcorn and soda for the night!

There all looking forward to doing it again. Soon!

Daytona State Race #13 and #14

What a weekend! I think this was one for the books. The overall best state race to date! And why you may ask...

Well let's begin with Friday. The local race. We had visitors. Mem, Pep, Grandma Me, Babci and Papa. Ben raced in the strider race (took 3rd place) and Bransen raced his age and brought in a 4th place finish .

And Saturday. I must also start out by saying Brayden had a hockey game in which he made a goal! A nice clean goal too! He was beyond excited and I yelled from the sidelines with excitement as well.

Ben raced in his first ever state strider race. He was in moto five with four other riders and he took home 2nd place and received a big trophy. He sure was proud and his face showed it! He raced on Sunday too and took home 2nd place again and got another big trophy. This boy is onto something. Looking forward to watching him race more and more.

Onto Bransen. Saturday State race was tough and we didn't make the main. But he made the semi and worked hard to get into the main but just came a little short.

Sunday! We made the main and took home a 4th place finish. Honestly I know I say this alot but this was a heck of a weekend riding. He showed up, brought some of his best talent to the track and deserved the win. And T and Crystal were also there to celebrate the win!

And we are ready for championship race weekend and riding on a new bike!

Ben's Day with Pep

Any day spent with Pep is a day well spent! And I think Pep feels the same with Ben! Pep was gone for almost a week and Ben had only seen him on video chat. When we pulled into their house and Ben knew Pep was home he squealed with excitement and ran right into his arms. These two share an amazing bond. And the look on both of their faces says it all!

Park and Chick-fil-A were on the agenda this day!

Beach with the Harnisch Family

Is there anything better than spending the day at the beach with your best buds? I think not! And we got to spend the day at the beach with our adult friends and have adult conversations that may have consisted of children!

Exactly one year ago we all went to the beach together to but unfortunately Kameron couldn't join us this day!

The boys had a blast playing again in the freezing water, riding their boogie boards and burying themselves in the sand!
