Day trip to Georgia

Sometime's an adventure is nice. One that you don't expect. Well Sunday morning we decided to hop in the truck and take a drive north. We googled a few places to check out and came across St. Simon's Island in Georgia.

We took the drive 2.5 hours north and came across the most prettiest little tourist town.  Mind you as soon as we stepped out of the car it rained heavily. We were able to quickly walk under the pier to try to get away from the rain but unfortunately we still go wet! Luckily the storm didn't last long, we didn't stay soaked for long and were able to site see around the city.

We stopped for ice cream, fudge and taffy, walked along the pier and old roads, stopped to play at the playground and got a few awesome pictures along the way.

The day was great! Ben doesn't get much one on one time with us and we don't get much with him. It was a special day with lots of memories made. We look forward to going back up there soon with everyone!
