Raylan and the first grade classes at Wadsworth sang at the opening of First Friday. They sang four christmas songs to kick off the night!
After we listened to then sing we made our way over to meet Santa and to get a picture with him!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree
Each year we all go as a family to pick out our Christmas Tree. This year was just the same. We all loaded up and went to Lowe's and found the perfect one. It didn't take too much time either. We loaded it up on the top of the car and headed home.
We made a quick stop and when we got out the picture below will show you how our tree was. It was a close call. Thank goodness we stopped.
A few days later the boys decorated it and Jake hung the star.
And we took our annual boys picture in front of the tree!

One Daytona
The boys and I headed over to One Daytona to enjoy their family night. This particular night you were able to meet the Grinch. Unfortunately the line was so long and we got there a little late that they had already closed off the line to any one new.
They did get to enjoy some snow! They went snow tubing! Ben got all the way up to the top and decided he didn't want to go. So down the stairs he went. Then they were able to play in a pile of snow and have a snow ball fight. There was a lot of slipping and sliding and Ben wasn't really a big fan of the cold ice on his feet or on his hands!

Kibb's back!
Our elf Kibb made his way back into our home Friday after Thanksgiving! This year he brought each boy a contract to sign promising the following:
Promising to have a holly jolly attitude
Understanding as a child, I am not allowed to touch my elf.
Promising to be on their best behavior this holiday season
And to spread kindness and the true spirit of the Christmas to their family and friends!
Be on the watch for all the crazy adventures Kibb is going to be up too for the next few weeks!

Antique Car Parade and Hotel
My boys and I went down to the 61st annual Ormond Beach Antique Car show with my parents. Brayden and my parents had been before but Bransen and I hadn't. Every year at Thanksgiving Daytona holds the Turkey Rod Run that brings in old cars for an annual show. The night was chilly, the cars were pretty to look at and the company was even better.
We ended the night checking out all the lights at the Starlight Hotel in Holly Hill. Ben's favorite, the Paw Patrol section!

Feet to Feast 5K
Thankgiving the boys and I woke up early and headed out to run the Palm Coast Feet to Feast 5K. We were also joined running by Tracy and Cade and Jake, Baillee and Ben were also there to cheer us on.
The weather was perfect, the scenery was perfect, my run was perfect and watching my boys and friends cross the finish line was even more perfect. It was a great way to start the day being surrounded by people that I am so thankful for.
Also for being thankful that my older boys are starting to enjoy something I love so much. I came in 11th in my age group and 195th out of 539 runners. Bransen came in 435th out of 539 riders and Brayden came in 450th out of 539 riders!
They stopped to view the dolphins on the intracoastal!

Thanksgiving
This year Thanksgiving worked out perfect! We were able to celebrate with Jake's family on Wednesday night. Everyone was able to make it. We all shared a wonderful dinner, lots of laughter and smiles and we even snapped one of the best pictures ever!
Thanksgiving Day we spent with my parents. We watched the Macy's Day parade, ate a early dinner, spent sometime playing outside and enjoying each other's company. And I unfortunately didn't get any pictures of Thanksgiving at our house. We all left the day with full bellies finished on homemade apple pie!
And we spent the night with some friends too and ended the night with a fire and marshmallows!
